POLICE have been called to reports of a body found on a popular beach.
Officers from Sussex Police are at the scene near Sea Lane Cafe, Worthing, this morning where a body is understood to have been found.
Pictures taken from the scene show dozens of officers on the pebbled beach while a cordon remains in place.
Several coastguard volunteers from HM Coastguard are also at the site.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
