DOZENS of police officers are at the scene of an incident near Worthing Pier after a man was seen walking "fully clothed" into the water.
Coastguard crews, as well as officers from Sussex Police and Shoreham RNLI responded to the incident near the popular attraction this morning.
Pictures taken from the scene show as many as four police vehicles stationed on Marina Parade, opposite the pier.

After a shoreline search was carried out by the RNLI, nothing was found.
It is thought the incident may be related to a man in the water at low tide digging for bait, police said.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "We received a report of a man walking fully clothed into the water by Worthing Pier at 9.30am on Thursday.
"Shoreham RNLI inshore lifeboat was launched and the coastguard carried out a shoreline search but nothing was found.
"The call was believed to be good intent and related to a man in the water at low tide digging for bait."
