A ROAD has been closed due to a suspected collision between a pedestrian and a lorry.
Officers are at the scene of a collision in Hollingdean Road, Brighton, which has been shut as a result of the incident.
Pictures taken from the scene show officers manning a cordon as blue tape marks a section of the road.
An articulated lorry can be seen inside the cordon, as officers work to investigate the collision.
According to an AA traffic report, the incident is said to involve a pedestrian.
A spokesman said: "Road closed and slow traffic due to an accident involving a pedestrian and a lorry involved on Hollingdean Road at Freehold Terrace.
"Congestion to Lewes Road and Roedale Road."
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
