FIREFIGHTERS are urging the public the keep their windows and doors closed after a waste bin fire.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze in in Bells Yew Green, Frant, at about 7.35am on Tuesday, May 3.
The public were urged to avoid the area, and keep windows and doors closed.
Two fire engines attended the scene.
At 07:35 we were called to a waste bin fire in Bells Yew Green, #Frant Two pumps are currently on scene and tackling the fire. Please close all windows and doors and avoid the area if you can. pic.twitter.com/ue3mGvX2mE

An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “At 7.35am, we were called to a waste bin fire in Bells Yew Green, Frant.
“Two pumps are currently on scene and tackling the fire.
“Please close all windows and doors and avoid the area if you can.”
