A road is currently closed after a “serious collision” involving a van and a motorcyclist.
Sussex Police confirmed that the A283 in Steyning was currently closed after the crash earlier today.
At present the road is closed in both directions between Horsham Road and Water Lane near Wiston.
A police spokeswoman said: “Emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision involving a van and motorcyclist on the A283 at Steyning.

“The road is closed both ways between the B2135 Horsham Road in Steyning and Water Lane in Wiston.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101 quoting 729 of 30/09.”
The Argus understands that fire and rescue services and the air ambulance have also been on the scene of the incident earlier today.
