A pub is hosting a daytime rave for over 30s only.

Maggie Mae's, in Preston Street, Brighton, has announced it will be hosting the event on June 1.

The rave, called "Let Me Be Your Fantasy", will take people back to the height of clubbing with music from the Nineties and early Noughties.

The windows will be blacked out and UV lights will be put up around the pub to create a club atmosphere.

A spokesman for Maggie Mae's said: "We are blacking out the windows, getting the UV Lights in.

"We're having a daytime rave.

"But this time it's for the original clubbers and ravers and it's strictly over 30s.

"We go back to the Nineties with a sprinkle of Noughties.

"As we rave the afternoon away, we will be taking you back to the dancefloors in the Nineties that brought you Set You Free, Baby D, Show Me Love and many more."
