A seafront villa on Hove's 'Millionaire's Row' is on sale for £3,500,000.

This four-bedroom property on Western Esplanade, just west of Hove Lagoon, is listed by Fine & Country.

Western Esplanade, which comprises just 12 seafront properties, is one of the most exclusive and expensive streets in the city.

A property on Western Esplanade sold for £2.9m in 2024.

The private seafront road has been home to a string of well-known names, including DJ Norman Cook, presenter Zoe Ball, singer Adele, and comedian David Walliams.

Former EastEnders and Heartbeat star Nick Berry has also lived there.

Paul McCartney and his then-wife Heather Mills were once residents.

In previous years, the road has also seen partying guests such as Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner.

The property has direct access to a private beach and panoramic views.

It also has a luxury open-plan kitchen and entertainment space, secure off-street parking, underfloor heating throughout, exceptional lighting, a huge private roof terrace and a sizeable cellar.

Fine & Country said: "The modest and unassuming frontage and secure gates to the parking area outside belies the glamour within.

"A grand hallway, bright white décor and lime washed floorboards sumptuously beckon the eye through to the open plan kitchen/dining/living space.

"Breathtaking views of the English Channel come in through floor to ceiling sliding doors, which span the full width of the room.

"Emphasis throughout the home is based on minimalist, abstract geometric forms that play with the natural light that flows through the home."

On the first floor, four well-appointed bedrooms include three south-facing rooms that offer views of the English Channel. The master suite features its own ensuite bathroom, while a separate family bathroom serves the remaining bedrooms.

A few steps up bring residents to a substantial roof terrace, ideal for evening gatherings.

Additional amenities include an expansive cellar—suitable for conversion into a home gym or wine cellar—and a generous utility room.

Fine & Country describe the property as “a rare gem offering exclusive privacy, exceptional views, sea swimming and fantastic proportions for those looking to entertain or hide away.”
