A former Albion under-23s’ player could be on his way to Anfield in the Champions League.
Anders Dreyer scored the final goal for Danish outfit Midtjylland as they beat Slavia Prague 4-1 in the play-off round last night.
Their reward for a first ever qualification to the group stages is to be drawn with Liverpool, Atalanta and Ajax.
Dreyer, 22, played for the Seagulls’ development squad in the 2018-19 season, during which he had a loan stint at St Mirren.
He moved on to Heerenveen on loan last summer and completed a permanent transfer to Midtjylland in January this year, signing a four-and-a-half year contract.
His under-23s debut for Albion came against Liverpool’s youngsters two years ago this week.
