Graham Potter has allayed fears over Jose Izquierdo after he sat out Albion under-23s’ latest outing.
The Colombia international has been playing in Premier League 2 recently as he rebuilds fitness following a major knee injury.
He was not in the side which lost 5-2 at home to Manchester United on Friday.
Asked by The Argus whether Izquierdo is okay, head coach Potter said: “He is, yes, we just need to manage his return to play.
“We are making sure we do the right thing for him. He has been training with the physios and hopefully he will be with us again next week.”

The under-23s are next in action on Monday, November 23, when they play Blackburn.
Izquierdo has been working with the senior squad but Albion are taking things carefully with him after his long absence.
