Two of Albion’s current rivals have seen their Premier League clash called off this weekend.

Burnley v Fulham, due to be played tomorrow, has been postponed.

Albion are currently between those two teams in the standings as they occupy 17th position.

There have been positive Covid-19 cases within the Fulham camp and their midweek match at Tottenham was also called off.

The Cottagers are currently one place and two points behind the Seagulls.

HOW ALBION SQUAD FEEL ABOUT THEIR LONG WAIT FOR A WIN

Albion would go above Burnley if they can beat Wolves this evening – but the Clarets will have two games in hand on Graham Potter’s men after this weekend.

Fulham are reportedly looking into a social media video which allegedly shows their striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and his fellow Serbia international Luka Milivojevic, of Crystal Palace, celebrating the New Year together.

Meanwhile former Seagulls right-back Martin Montoya is among the Real Betis players who tested positive for Covid ahead of their cross-city derby with Sevilla in LaLiga Santander. The fixture goes ahead this afternoon.
