Jason Steele revealed he wanted to redeem himself in an extraordinary FA Cup penalty shoot out.
The Albion goalkeeper made a bad error which took their third round tie at Newport to extra-time.
But Steele produced FOUR saves in the shoot out before Adam Webster saw the visitors through.
Albion eventually won 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
Steele said: “I hold my hands up for my role in the goal with the last kick of the game.
“It was a mistake from myself but I’d like to think I’ve dug myself out a little bit.
“You want to redeem yourself a little bit but the lads scored the penalties when they needed to as well.
“It’s a tough place to come and we are happy we are through to the next round."
Steele thanked coach Ben Roberts for helping him with his research.

He added: "I did feel a little bit of pressure. I'm a responsible 30-year-old adult and I know when I've played well.
"I feel like I played well but made one mistake that cost us a goal. In the end I dug myself out of it!
