Robert Sanchez has been told it is still early days between the posts for Albion.

The goalkeeper has signed a new contract, taking him through to the summer of 2025.

Graham Potter is happy with what Sanchez has done so far.

Albion’s head coach said: “He’s a young guy with a really high potential and, at the same time, he is performing well in the team.

“It’s nice for him and us that his short, medium, long term future is with us and he can just concentrate on the most important thing, which is his football.

“He’s only made a few starts so we have to help him make a lot of starts and then we will make an assessment after 50, 100 matches.”
