Former Albion full-back Ezequiel Schelotto has made his first domestic start in his home country – at the age of 31.
Schelotto played the first 80 minutes for his new club Racing as they beat Rosario Central 1-0 in Argentina's League Cup.
He signed as a free agent recently having kept fit by running on Hove seafront following his release by Albion last summer.
Schelotto made a solid debut and impressed with his attacking forays.
He said: “On a personal level I’m pleased to have played.
“At the end I was a bit tired, that’s why I was taken off, but I’m happy.
“It is a big change for me. I was born here but created as a footballer in Europe.
“There, the tempo is higher with the ball and here it is all more fierce. It’s different but I am adapting.”
