Robert Sanchez could yet cap his fabulous season with a debut for Spain.

That is Bruno’s verdict as Euro 2020 draws near.

In the audio below, the former Seagulls skipper speaks about the forthcoming tournament - starting with his thoughts on how England will do.

The interview starts with Bruno highlighting his major concern over Gareth Southgate's side.

Spain get under way in Group E on Monday as they host Sweden at La Cartuja in Seville.

The uncapped Sanchez would appear to be third in the pecking order between the sticks for Luis Enrique.

But the Spain coach has been keen to stress on various occasions that he is willing to make a big call.

Bruno said: “I think it’s amazing what Rob has been going through for the last year, let’s say.

“I would say from the first lockdown he came back from his own loan and he has been working with the team and going through that process of training with the first team every day.

“I have been with him for six years and obviously, with our Spanish connections, we always had a really good relationship.

“His football ability has always been incredible and that’s why he is where he is right now.

“He has matured so fast and that is why he keeps performing well, week in and week out.

“It’s going to be an amazing experience for him.
