Getafe have already lined up a possible replacement for Albion target Marc Cucurella.
But that does not mean head coach Michel wants to lose him.
The Seagulls are keen on the former Barcelona left wing-back, who is currently away at the Olympics with Spain.
Michel, the legendary former Real Madrid and Spain wideman, accepts he might lose Cucurella and another of his prized assets, Mauro Arambarri.
And he has planned for such an eventuality.
Cucurella is understood to have a buyout clause of about £15 million.
Michel said: “In case anyone comes to pay the buyout clause for Cucurella or Arambarri, and we prefer that they don’t, we have got replacements.

“We have already got our response prepared in case someone pays the buyout clause and they want to go.”
