Shane Duffy is expected to relish his busy workload.

But Albion will check on him before naming a line-up to face Norwich City.

Duffy, who scored against the Canaries two seasons ago, played twice for the Republic of Ireland over the past fortnight.

Adam Webster could add competition for defensive places after returning to training after injury.

But Albion boss Graham Potter was happy to see Duffy keeping busy.

Potter said: “Knowing Shane and knowing how he is, I think he benefits from playing regularly.

“He is a strong guy but, just like the others, you will always monitor and see how he recovers.

“But I have no real concerns about Shane in terms of minutes.

“He’s in a great place so we just need to take the right decisions.”

Duffy played in a 3-0 win away to Azerbaijan last Saturday and then scored in Dublin as Qatar were defeated 4-0.
