ALBION duo Dan Burn and Alexis Mac Allister have been named in Alan Shearer’s team of the week.

The former Newcastle striker picked the two Albion players after their contribution during the 3-2 win over Everton on Sunday.

Argentina midfielder Mac Allister scored two great goals, including a 25-yard volley as well as finishing off a brilliant Albion passing move early on in the match.

The impact Mac Allister had will have given him hope of being given another start by manager Graham Potter as he looks to establish himself as a starter for Albion.

Burn also scored in the game, as the defender headed home from close range to double Albion’s lead in the first half.

The defender also produced a solid performance in the defence and continue to show that he is capable of being a suitable cover for the injured Lewis Dunk.

Despite two goals from Toffees striker Anthony Gordon, Potter's side were able to hold on for their first-ever win at Goodison Park.

The win meant that Albion climbed up the Premier League table to ninth.

The duo were selected alongside Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Caoimhim Kelleher and West Ham’s Manuel Lanzini and Declan Rice.

Wolves pair Conor Coady and Joao Moutinho were also selected as well as Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic and Brentford’s Mads Roerslev.

The manager of the week was Wolves boss Bruno Lage after his side beat Manchester United.
