Moises Caicedo has backed an international colleague to be a big hit at Albion.
Pervis Estupinan showed his skills and athleticism on his full debut as the Seagulls beat Leeds.
Caicedo, who plays with Estupinan for Ecuador, was impressed by his performance and said: “I am very happy he is here playing for this great club.
“I am sure he is going to have a great season and really shine here.
“I spoke to him and I’m really excited to have him here.
“He is really excited to be here and show his football.
“I told him it’s a big club and that here would really suit him.
“He would just have to train well and work hard and the rest will come because it’s a very great club.”
Caicedo expects Estupinan to pick up English quickly.
He said: “I speak a bit more and at times I try to help him.
“He only started learning recently and l am here for anything that he doesn’t understand to help him.”
