Ghana have confirmed Tariq Lamptey’s absence from their squad.
The Albion full-back misses friendlies against Mexico and the USA.
He was absent from the 2-2 draw against Liverpool after his busy 90 minutes at Marseille last week.
Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi said within minutes of full-time at the Stade Velodrome that he had a concern over Lamptey.
He will remain at Lancing rather than making the trip to the USA for two games which kick off at 1am and 1.30am our time.
Kaoru Mitoma is also missing his national team’s current get-together as Japan play two home friendlies.
