Profile: Former session musician Peter Lacey is no stranger to the Download Of The Week column – music from his collaboration with former Beach Boys and Motown writer Stephen John Kalinich, South Downs Way featured in this column last July. January saw Peter embark on his seventh solo album Behind The Scenes, from which this week’s Download is drawn. The track opens what Peter describes as the closest he has come to a concept album, which has been divided into two acts and investigates the interplay between reality and illusion.
