Profile: Based around the duo of Jacob Jon Richardson and Tom Cowan, Sons Of Noel And Adrian have been in Brighton for the last two years, and rapidly gathered band members around them. Now the band can go out with as many as ten members or as few as five to play their acoustic progressive folk.

They describe their music as ranging "from shanty to Schoenburg, from deep underground to just above the surface", musing on "whether excess can make you a better person and what's to do when your credit's all used up and there's nowhere to go."

In June the band released its debut self-titled nine-track album on Shelsmusic. The album itself was recorded live in Devon last year.
