Expanding Saltaire-based business telecoms supplier Intouch Advance will offer commuters free 4G WiFi access as part of a business event later this month.
The company – which was highly commended in the T&A Bradford Means Business awards small firms category this year and is a partner of mobile operator Everything Everywhere – will be providing free 4G WiFi to commuters at Leeds City Station on September 23 and 25 as part of Leeds Business Week.
Simon Pollard, Intouch Advance chief executive, said: “Not many people are aware of our revolutionary MiFi device, which gets downlink speeds of up to 100Mbps in Leeds city centre, which is now one of the fastest networks in the world."
The event comes at a significant time for EE, following the launch of rivals Vodafone and O2’s 4G service in Bradford, Leeds and London last month, stepping up the competition for mobile customers.
