Thousands of people have been enjoying the bank holiday sun by flocking to the seaside.
After a week of mild weather, Brighton beach was filled with people looking to soak up the warmer conditions.
Seaside bars and restaurants were filled with customers as well as people packing The Lanes for the long weekend.
With the nice weather expected to extend into the Easter celebrations, more people will be walking along the promenade and sitting on the beach as the weekend goes on.

Despite a section of the beach being closed by a suspected mine earlier in the day, scores of people sat along the seaside and enjoyed one of the first days of Brighton’s sunny weather.
While a few daring beachgoers decided to dip their toe into the sea, most stayed firmly planted on the pebbly beach to enjoy the bank holiday.
Skies are expected to remain blue and sunny over the weekend before the weather takes a rainy turn on Easter Monday.
Temperatures hit double figures once again yesterday with even higher spells of up to 14 degrees expected on Easter Sunday.
