Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.
Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.
A few animals from the branch are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Roscoe
Gender - Male
Age - Four years old
Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed
Colour - White and Brindle

Roscoe is a dog who has not had the best start in life so will need a home with someone who has time, strength and patience to dedicate to his training.
He is described as a "very friendly, enthusiastic boy who loves attention" and knows some commands.
Roscoe is anxious with formal handling and restraint, particularly with the vet or any veterinary treatment, so will need plenty of reassurance and to be muzzled for any vet visits.
Due to not being socialised in his previous home, he can be very reactive towards other dogs so will need to be walked in quiet areas with minimal dogs and will need to remain on the lead in public.
Elon
Gender - Male
Age - Four years old
Breed - Turtle (Musk)
Colour - Wild type

Elon is a turtle who is looking for his forever home, having been with the RSPCA for more than a year now.
He will need a minimum 3ft enclosure with a filter and the correct heating and lighting.

Quincy
Gender - Female
Age - Six to 12 months old
Breed - Crossbreed
Colour - Brown

Quincy came into the care of the RSPCA as part of a large group of 83 animals that were taken in.
She is described as quite shy and is not keen on being picked up as she will try and wriggle out of it.
The RSPCA adds: "We are looking for a calm home for Quincy with a gentle neutered male rabbit for company."

Nibbles and Dinky
Gender - Female
Age - Two years old
Breed - Lop
Colour - White/ White and Black

Nibbles and Dinky came into the shelter as their owner could no longer care for them, and are now looking for their forever home.
The RSPCA adds: "We are looking for a home for them to go together but without other animals in the home, if possible.
"They can be spooked easily so would be better in an adult home or a home with older children who are used to rabbits."
Neither of them are used to being picked up but they are improving with it as time goes on.
