Sami Hyypia’s will launch his reign as Albion boss with a Sky Bet Championship opener at home to Sheffield Wednesday on August 9.
It is only the third time since 1999 that the Seagulls have been handed a home game on the first day of the season.
Albion will follow the Wednesday opener with trips to Birmingham and Leeds United before finishing a reasonable first month of the season with home games against Bolton and Charlton.
Cardiff City will visit the Amex on September 30 while fellow relegated sides Fulham and Norwich are in Sussex on November 29 and April 4 respectively.
The Boxing Day fixture will be at home to Reading with a return trip to Fulham two days later.
Former Crawley boss Steve Evans will bring his Rotherham side to the Amex on October 25.
The regular season will end with one of the longest trips, away to Middlesbrough on May 2.
