Sussex are heading back to Arundel next year as part of their One-Day Cup preparations.

The county will host Hertfordshire at the Castle Ground on Sunday, July 21 in a warm-up fixture for the 50-overs Metro Bank competition.

Fixtures released today show six Championship games to kick off the 2024 season, followed by the first of two batches of Vitality Blast T20 games.

Eleven of the 14 T20 group matches are at weekends (including Friday nights).

That schedule features a Saturday afternoon game with Essex at the 1st Central County Ground.

The One-Day Cup takes place in late July and into August.

There are two Championship games in August, including the home date with Derbyshire.

The season gets under way on April 5 when Northants visit Hove.

Before that, Sussex have a pre-season trip to India and, weather permitting, two-day home friendlies against Surrey and Hampshire on March 25 and 29.
