Reading caretaker boss Eamonn Dolan has a "great chance" of getting the job on a more permanent basis, according to one of his players.
Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has backed the academy director to guide the Royals in their battle to beat the drop from the Premier League.
Albion boss Gus Poyet is being strongly linked with the post left vacant when Brian McDermott was sacked recently.
McCarthy said of Dolan: “He’s got a great method to the way he works and he gets the boys going.
"I think he’s come in and he’ll do a good job for us.
“We’ll have to see how the games turn out, but I think he’s got a great chance and all the lads are with him.”
