Swansea City's relationship with Michael Laudrup took a turn for the worse last night – and that could have implications for suspended Albion boss Gus Poyet.
Chairman Huw Jenkins has severed ties with Bayram Tutumlu, the agent brought in by Laudrup, amid claims he was trying to dictate transfer policy.
Swansea would be very interested in Poyet if Laudrup were to leave the club.
Laudrup attempted to assure Swans fans late last night that he was staying but the situation remains tense.
Poyet was recently linked with the vacant manager’s post at Maccabi Tel Aviv but that has now been taken by Paulo Sousa.
