Albion have handed Stephen Ward a debut and Keith Andrews his first start as they tackle Birmingham City today.
Andrew Crofts returns to midfield for the trip to St Andrews.
Ward comes in at left-back following his midweek loan move from Wolves while Andrews looks set to play in the holding midfield role.
Youngsters Vitalijs Maksimenko and Rohan Ince both miss out.
