Proud Oscar Garcia has dedicated Albion’s first win under his command to their fans.
Andrew Crofts fired the only goal of the Seagulls’ 1-0 success at Birmingham City today.
Albion’s 1,200 travelling fans sang the head coach’s name as they celebrated at the end.
Oscar said: “I am very proud to be the coach of these players and I want to dedicate this win to all the fans of Brighton.
“They deserve a win like this.”
The former Maccabi boss said he had not been worried after seeing his side lose their first three games under his control.
He added with a smile: “I am a strong man. In the past I’ve (experienced) a war in Tel Aviv!
“We are working hard and you know that the first win will come soon.
“It was here and we deserved to win.
“We played, for me, a fantastic first half."
