Albion expect a quiet end to the August transfer window.

National newspaper reports have linked hitman Leo Ulloa and defensive midfielder Liam Bridcutt with bids of £5 million and £1.75 million respectively from arch-rivals Crystal Palace.

But The Argus understands no movement is likely in or out from The Amex before tomorrow night's 11pm transfer deadline.

Ulloa scored his fourth goal in five Championship outings this season to rescue a point against Millwall at The Amex yesterday.

Albion team-mate Keith Andrews said "He's a handful. He has got a bit of everything. He is a big player for us at the moment, because he is really leading that line on his own and allowing us to bring other players such as Bucker (Will Buckley) and Barnesy (Ashley Barnes) when he plays into play.

"He is very effective. I have seen first hand in training how strong he is and what a handful he is to deal with, so if we can keep him right I am sure we are going to have a very good season."

Bridcutt is currently recovering from hernia surgery.
