Bruno has hailed “the save of Albion’s season so far” by Tomasz Kuszczak.
The Polish goalkeeper dived low to his left to keep a Grant Holt header out of the bottom corner in the closing stages of Albion’s win at Wigan.
Bruno, above, went over to congratulate him immediately after the final whistle.
The right-back said: “Tomasz is a goalkeeper with a huge amount of experience, a huge amount of quality.
“Sometimes you don’t have many things to do but the one he had he did well. It was a spectacular save – for me the best of the season.”
Bruno is banned for Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
He pulled back Nick Powell after gifting him the ball with a poor pass.
Bruno said of the foul: “I’m a defender and I have to do these things. It was after one mistake.”
