Former Albion defender Steve Cook is doubtful for the clash against his old club at Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Cherries' centre-half was stretchered off with a leg injury in the closing moments of the 1-0 home defeat by Derby County.
Cook says the injury is "not as bad as first thought". He will find out more about his prospects of facing the Seagulls today.
If Cook gets the all-clear he will partner fellow ex-Albion defender Tommy Elphick against Oscar Garcia's in-form side.
Elphick, the Bournemouth captain, returned to the starting line-up against Derby in place of Elliott Ward, who has been ruled out for two months by a calf injury.
