Argus chief sports reporter Andy Naylor has given his views about Chris Hughton being appointed Albion boss.
The 56-year-old Londoner appeared before local and national media at the club's training ground in Lancing this morning.
He is due to hold his first training session with the players later today.
He will take charge of his first match on Saturday when the Seagulls travel to Brentford for the third round of the FA Cup.
Argus man Andy Naylor said his performance before the media this morning was "accomplished". He added: "As you would expect from somebody of his experience. He handled all the the questions thrown at him."
He added that Mr Hughton had not given up on re-signing Darren Bent - who is rumoured to be on his way to Derby.
