Albion boss Chris Hughton has been spared a test by a striker he let go tonight.
Huddersfield front man James Vaughan has been ruled out of his side’s trip to the Amex by a jarred knee.
He is replaced by Ishmael Miller, who has been on the bench of late.
It is the only change to the side which started Town’s impressive 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Former Forest wideman Radi Majewski comes on to the bench.
Vaughan first caught the attention of Hughton as a youngster with Everton.
But it was the current Seagulls manager who let him go on loan to Huddersfield in 2012 when they were both at Norwich.
Ex-Albion defender Joel Lynch is likely to line-up as the left-sided of three centre-backs.
Huddersfield operate a wing-back system with Sean Scannell on the right and Reece James, on loan from Manchester United, on the left.
Huddersfield: Smithies; Smith, Hudson, Lynch; Scannell, Butterfield, Gobern, Coady, James; Wells, Miller. Subs: Murphy, Edgar, Wallace, Carroll, Hogg, Majewski, Lolley.
