Jamie Murphy has been handed his first Albion start – against another winger Albion wanted to sign.
The former Sheffield United flyer comes in for Solly March at home to Blackburn today as the only change to the side which kicked off away games at Fulham and Huddersfield.
He could be up against Ben Marshall, who is likely to be pressed into service at right-back for Rovers.
Regular right-back Adam Henley and midfielder Jason Lowe were both taken ill during Rovers’ trip south so the visitors only name 17 men.
Their starting XI shows two personnel changes as Danny Guthrie and new signing Tom Lawrence come in for Henley and Lowe.
There is still no Bobby Zamora in the Seagulls’ matchday squad.
