Sussex boy Greg Luer is likely to be in Hull City’s matchday 18 against Albion tomorrow – after an injury blow for their latest signing.
The former Burgess Hill striker is set for a place on the bench at the Amex.
His services are required after pre-deadline arrival Adama Diomande was ruled out for up to eight weeks.
The Norwegian has had surgery on a groin problem.
Shaun Maloney is also missing for the Tigers. He has a hamstring problem.
Both absentees would probably have been on the bench if fit.
Now former Brighton Schools player Luer, who has scored in both rounds of the Capital One Cup this term, is set for a place among the subs.
Hull strike duo Chuba Akpom and Abel Hernandez are both likely to start, despite missing international duty with England under-21s and Uruguay respectively.
