Albion have made changes on the wing – one enforced, one by choice – for their top versus bottom battle.
The Seagulls bring in Jamie Murphy and Solly March as they tackle Rotherham at the Amex tonight.
They replace Kazenga LuaLua, who serves a one-game ban, and Liam Rosenior as the only changes to the side which kicked off the last two matches, wins over Ipswich and Hull City.
Elvis Manu, the Dutch under-21 international signed in the final few days of the summer transfer window, comes into the matchday 18 for the first time.
Albion are aiming to open a season with four successive wins at home since the days of their title double at Withdean.
Albion: Stockdale; Bruno, Greer, Huenemeier, Bong; Murphy, Stephens, Kayal, March; Hemed, Baldock. Subs: Maenpaa, Dunk, Rosenior, Ince, Forster-Caskey, Manu, Zamora.
