James Wilson is in contention to return to Albion's starting line-up against Wolves tomorrow.

Captain Gordon Greer also has an outside chance of returning from injury for the clash at the Amex.

Wilson felt unwell when he was taken off at half-time at Brentford on Saturday.

The on-loan Manchester United striker was still not 100 per cent when he was brought on in the second half of Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat by Ipswich.

Boss Chris Hughton said today: "He's okay to play. He's struggled in the last couple of games but that's more through illness.

"We've been delighted with what he's given us so far and it's good that he's available."

Greer missed the Ipswich defeat after hamstring trouble forced him off in the closing stages at Brentford.

Hughton told The Argus: "He will be touch and go for tomorrow. If not then Connor (Goldson), who I thought did very well against Ipswich, will of course get another opportunity."

Hughton is relieved Greer has not joined Albion's long-term casualty list. Gaetan Bong is out until early February, Uwe Huenemeier until mid-February, Liam Rosenior the end of February and Solly March for the rest of the season.

Hughton said: "We've got enough of those (long-term injuries) and it will be touch and go but if he doesn’t make tomorrow then he'll certainly be available for the next game."

Sam Baldock and Kazenga LuaLua have been earmarked for their comebacks from long-terms problems in the FA Cup at Hull on January 9.
