Craig Noone insists he has no complaints about being substituted against Blackpool.

The winger played a part in both goals and collected a booking in his first Championship start of the season for Albion.

Kazenga LuaLua replaced Noone with the Seagulls 2-1 up but two-goal Kevin Phillips levelled late on for the visitors.

Noone said: “I look at the score at the end of the game. I’m not bothered about the score when I come off.

“It’s a disappointment but I wouldn’t look at that at all from my performance and what happened when I came off.

“Fair play to Kaz, he did really well when he came on so I’m not going to moan and groan. “We were disappointed with the result but that shows how far we have come. To get a point from a team that has just come down from the Premiership isn’t bad really but we feel like we’ve lost three points.

“I think it will give us a bit of a kick in the bum going into Tuesday’s game and after that as well.”

Albion entertain Sunderland at The Amex tomorrow night in the second round of the Carling Cup and Peterborough, fresh from their 7-1 thumping of Ipswich, on Saturday before an international break.

Noone added: “With the opponents we are playing against now you have just got to take it game by game and see what happens.

“We’ve got a couple more games then a two-week break so we’ll give it our all.”
