Will Buckley reckons the pressure will be all on Leicester when they take on the Championship leaders.

But the fit-again Albion front runner would love to add to Sven-Goran Eriksson’s worries, even as an impact player off the bench.

Buckley’s return after four weeks out with a hamstring injury helped give the Seagulls late impetus to see off Bristol City at Ashton Gate last Saturday.

The result kept them top of the table on 16 points, twice as many as a Leicester side who have been widely tipped for promotion under Eriksson’s guidance.

Leicester are desperate for a win and Buckley said: “We know this will be a massive game but they are under pressure.

“They have got to come out and beat us. We will just go into it like we do every game, knowing that we can win it.

“Especially with the money they have spent, the fans are expecting a lot of big things.

“We have just to go out and just do what we do every week.”

Buckley and Kazenga LuaLua played important roles off the bench at Ashton Gate.

Boss Gus Poyet could be plotting something similar this time.

Buckley said: The team played well to grind them down.

“When you have then got fresh players coming on, like me and Kaz, there are always going to be spaces in and around them.

“You’ve just got to take advantage of that.”
