Adam El-Abd gets his first action at The Amex as Albion host Burnley today.
The Brighton-born defender, missing for the opening months of the season with a foot injury, replaces Gonzalo Jara Reyes as one of three changes from the side which kicked off at Middlesbrough last week.
Ryan Harley and Ashley Barnes return for Craig Noone, who is among the subs, and Matt Sparrow.
Burnley have Jay Rodriguez as their lone striker and are likely to set up in a solid formation with Dean Marney brought in as an extra central midfielder.
Both sides come into the game on the back of 1-0 defeats last week but with reason to be happy with their home and away form respectively.
Albion are chasing a fourth successive home win in the second tier for the first time in eight-and-a-half years while Burnley have enjoyed superb come-from-behind victories in their last two away games.
Albion: Ankergren; El-Abd, Greer, Dunk, Taricco; Bridcutt; Vincelot, Harley; LuaLua, Barnes, Mackail-Smith. Subs: Brezovan, Navarro, Noone, Buckley, Paynter.
Burnley: Grant; Trippier, Duff, Edgar, Mee; Bartley; Wallace, McCann, Marney, Paterson; Rodriguez. Subs: Stewart, Stanislas, Vokes, Amougou, Austin.
