Albion's crippling injury list has cleared up for tomorrow’s trip to Peterborough.

Adam El-Abd, Marcos Painter and Jake Forster-Caskey are all likely to be back for the trip to London Road and captain Gordon Greer is available again after a suspension.

It leaves manager Gus Poyet with some tricky decisions to make, especially in defence.

Poyet revealed: “It’s good that we have got most of the defenders back, Gordon, Adam El-Abd and Marcos Painter, so we’ve got plenty of options.

“That’s great for the manager. I know it’s not going to be easy, because players are doing well, but we will make a decision depending on us and the opposition and the players’ fitness after the FA Cup game at Wrexham.

“We will make the right decision for the team. Jake Caskey is going to be fit as well. He has trained without any problems, so it will be a better squad no doubt.”

The versatile El-Abd was left out of Wednesday’s replay victory at Wrexham to make sure he would be ready to tackle Posh.

“He was the only one we didn’t take a risk with,” Poyet said. “He finished the Bristol City game (last Saturday) very tired with a stiff back and tight hamstring.”

Left-back Painter has been out since the end of November with hamstring trouble, while midfield prospect Forster-Caskey limped out of the Bristol match in the first half with a dead leg. Centre-half Greer has sat out the last three games following a red card against Southampton at the start of the month.
