A small number of motorway and A Road closures will affect Sussex traffic this weekend, according to National Highways England.

These will mainly be on the A27 in the early hours of the morning for maintenance work.

If you are set to be travelling along these areas, it's best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.

Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 7 on Sussex's main roads to be aware of.



M23, A23 and A27 road closures for Friday, April 5

M23

On the M23 southbound way at Junction 10, there will be an entry and exit slip road closure between 8pm and 6am for maintenance works.

A27

  • A27 eastbound Adur entry slip road closure - 8pm to 6am
  • A27 eastbound Manor Road roundabout to Adur carriageway closure - 9pm to 6am
  • A27 westbound Ford Road roundabout to Fontwell East roundabout carriageway closure - 8pm to 6am
  • A27 westbound Ashcombe roundabout to Hollingbury Junction carriageway closure - 8pm to 6am

On the A27 eastbound way, there will be a carriageway closure between Manor Road roundabout and Adur between 9pm and 6am for the construction of a new roundabout.
