Overnight road closures on the A259 between Peacehaven and Newhaven are set to continue for the rest of the week.
The works by East Sussex County Council are taking place for carriageway patching and to repair cracks in the road.
This is scheduled to take place from 8pm to 4.30am every night up until Saturday, April 20 between the junction of The Highway and the Links Avenue junction.
East Sussex Highways state: "Traffic will be diverted via A259, B2066 Roedean Road, Wilson Avenue, Warren Road, B2123, A27, A26, A259 and vice versa."
These works are unrelated to the work on the A259 near Rottingdean and Peacehaven during the day.
Due to Roadworks the A259 will be closed overnight (19:45 - 04:30) between the 15th and 20th of April, at the junction of Links Avenue. Our coastal services are currently on diversion.
