Gamble Street

From: Nottingham, Luton, London and Brighton

Profile: Like all great rock stories, Gamble Street began as a jam between university mates guitarist and vocalist Nat Austin and drummer Jamie Byrne.

As they put it, they decided instantly they had great potential and set about recruiting the remaining line-up, including Byrne’s old mate guitarist Joe Devine and a friend of Nat’s, Henry Green, on bass.

They aim to make their name as a “monumental” live act, with a mission statement to “make crowds jump to the beat of their powerful alternative rock anthems the world over”.

November saw them release their debut EP Gamble Street, featuring lead track Lucy and this week’s Download, Sold My Soul.
