Profession: Co-ordinator for Churches Together in Sussex, and as an engineer for Ashdown Audio-Visual at Piltdown.

Experience: Member of the independent advisory group for Sussex Police, former chairman of Surrey and Sussex Courts Board.

Other: Chairman of Sussex Central YMCA, trustee of several charities, co-ordinator of Brighton Street Pastors.

Priorities: “My main theme is prevention rather than cure. Key areas would be support the victims of crime, domestic violence and violence against women, focus on drugs and alcohol and support those who have addictions and, with licensing support responsible publicans.”
