Family: Amicably separated, one daughter, three grandchildren.
Educated: Has degrees from the Open University and the University of Warwick.
Profession: Former Metropolitan Police officer, more recently a private chauffeur and taxi licensing officer for Worthing Borough Council.
Other: Former chairman of the Sussex Taxi Licensing Officers Group.
Priorities: “I want to make sure victims are looked after. Criminals are important in order to try and stop reoffending but in the first instance there is no reason for victims to suffer further. I’m also the only candidate who has been a police officer – I have done the job, full time, for 30 years.”
