It's a sunny outlook for NSE as new store opens

WEATHERMAN Ian McCaskill forecasted a bright future for a new Tesco store when he snipped the ribbon to declare it open.

Ian also took a £500 cheque from managers of the express store in Gravel Hill, Chalfont St Peter, and presented it to the National Society of Epilepsy (NSE) at the event on Monday.

Ian lives near the charitys headquarters in Chesham Lane, Chalfont St Peter. He has been a staunch supporter of the NSE since attending an awareness raising reception there three years ago.

Anne-Marie Bloxham, the site manager, said: It was unanimous among the staff whom they wanted to donate the money to. Obviously having Ian to open our store is an added bonus.

Gemma Baxter, spokesperson for NSE said: We are delighted that Tesco is supporting our work both financially and by enlisting our training services to improve knowledge and awareness among its staff.

"Being close to the charitys base in Chesham Lane, it [the new Tesco] will enable more residents to go off-site to purchase items, extending their freedom and independence in a safe and achievable way."
